How can I use PCW?
You may look for the laws in Alphabetical, Chronological (year-wise), Categorical and Division-wise. Moreover, free text search facility both in Urdu and English language is also available. The website also contains Keywords Index , Phrases Index and Black's Law Dictionary Index. All these searches and indices can be searched by just clicking on the relevant tab or area.


What legislation is held on PCW?
The Pakistan Code Website (PCW) carries all type of legislation i.e. primary and secondary. Legislation is held in ‘revised’ form. This means that amendments made by subsequent legislations are incorporated into the main text.

Will I find new legislation on PCW?
Yes. Newly enacted/enforced legislation is uploaded on the Pakistan Code Website (PCW) as soon as it is reasonably practicable after publication in the official Gazette.


How up-to-date is the legislation on PCW?
All legislation held on the Pakistan Code Website (PCW) is currently up to date  and shall be kept updated on regular basis.
